PRIVACY POLICY

EKN Financial Services, Inc. Privacy Statement

The following information contains EKN’s privacy policy designed to protect the confidentiality of current and former clients. EKN has established a relationship with you as a result of your opening a brokerage account with EKN, a licensed broker/dealer, or with a licensed broker/dealer that EKN utilizes to effect securities transactions and other services for your account. This means we use your non-public material information for the sole purpose of servicing your account. This information is presented to you in conformity with 15 U.S.C. 6801-6810 and the securities and exchange act of 1934 amended by 15 U.S.C. 6801-6810. The non-public personal information, which identifies you or your account, is “personal information.” Maintaining personal information secure and confidential is an EKN priority.

The following will explain our policy in more detail.

Non-public information

EKN does not sell your personal information to anyone. EKN will only disclose your personal information with your consent, if required by law or, if required by EKN’s Clearing Rirm.

Non-public personal information

In order to provide you with the highest quality of service, EKN collects the following types of non-public information:

1. Information from you.
a. Information you provide on an application for an account, a loan, debit card or any other financial product or service, whether in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or by any other means, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, income, debit; and
b. Information we obtain for the purpose of tax reporting to you and to the various agencies which we report as required by law, including disclosures on various Internal Revenue Service (IRS) forms which we collect for tax reporting.

2. Information about your transactions with us.
a. Information that relates to the account balance, payment history, trading activity, and any other such transactions for which EKN provides brokerage services;
b. Information we collect as part of authentication for purposes of servicing your account in a secure and confidential fashion; and
c. Information we collect through an Internet “cookie” (an information collecting device from a web server).

3. Information about your transactions with non-affiliated third parties.
a. Information provided to other non-affiliated third parties as required by law, including information shared in connection with a subpoena or other legal document compelling our compliance; and
b. Information provided to financial institutions with whom we work

4. Information from a consumer-reporting agency.
a. Information from a consumer reporting agency regarding your credit worthiness or credit history or other information regarding lending;
b. Information about the fact that you are a customer of EKN and we have provided you a financial product or service; and
c. Information form other outside sources regarding their employment of, credit to, or other relationship with you, or
d. Verifying representations made by you, such as your employment history, loan or credit card balances.

Affiliates and non-affiliated third parties to whom we disclose

EKN does not disclose any non-public personal information about you as permitted by law or with your written authorization.

• Physical access restrictions at locations containing customer information, such as buildings, computer facilities, and record storage facilities to restrict access to unauthorized individuals.
• Encryption of electronic customer information where appropriate.
• Pre-employment screening, including fingerprinting, and segregation of duties for employees with responsibilities for access to customer information.
• Monitoring systems and procedures to detect actual and attempted attacks on or intrusions into customer information retention files and or systems.
• Response programs that specify actions to be taken when EKN suspects or detects that unauthorized individuals may have gained access to customer information

A disaster recovery plans to protect against loss or damage to customer information due to potential environmental hazards, such as fire and water damage or technological. This is to also include unforeseen catastrophic events
